AR conducts medical camp

Imphal, November 08 2019:
Indian Army and Assam Rifles conducted medical camp under Op Sadbhavana, in the remote and far flung village of Khumkot in Khengjoi sub-division, Chandel district yesterday.
The medical camp was organised by Moltuk Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) to address the medical needs, health issues and life style related problems of the villagers, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) .
A total of 157 villagers including 28 children attended the camp.
The Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) of unit also educated the villagers about sanitation habits and various preventive measures against diseases.
The villagers appreciated the efforts of the Battalion and conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Moltuk Battalion and Assam Rifles for providing free medical treatment and medicines to them,
