Phungyar Assembly Youth Congress Committee clarifies

Imphal, September 08 2021: Phungyar Assembly Youth Congress Committee has clarified that no members of the committee has defected to BJP as published in local media on September 3 .

In a statement issued today jointly signed by Thotchuishang Shinglai (secretary) and AS Thomas (executive member), the committee said the report about members of the committee joining BJP on September 2 is baseless and that they are still members of Phungyar Assembly Youth Congress Committee.
