Imphal, May 08 2024: Ima Kondong Lairembi Thougal Lup, Moreh has informed that Ima Kondong Lairembi Haraoba (festival) will not be held this year as the Kuki narco-terrorists have destroyed the temple by setting it on fire in the ongoing conflict.

In a release, Thougal Lup general secretary A Lalit Singh informed that 'Kum Chanba' rituals of Ima Kondong Lairembi will be performed at Manipur Dance College (MDC), Palace Compound on May 10 .

He appealed to people hailing from Moreh as well as others, who used to routinely take part in Ima Kondong Lairembi Haraoba to join the ritual ceremony.
