Imphal, July 07 2022: The World Meetei Council (WMC), Barak Valley Zone distributed relief items for the flood victims in Assam, especially at four villages which fall under Cachar on July 3 and July 5 last.

A press release issued by WMC said that relief items were distributed on July 3 at Lama, Silchar, Rangirkhal, Ramnagar and on July 5 at Madhutilla, Dhamai and Sonai area among others.

The Council thanked all the people who extended both moral and physical support in helping the flood victims in the neighbouring State.
