Imphal, April 07 2015 : One woman cadre of UNLF has been arrested in a search operation of Bishnupur District Police and women police at Maharabi Mayai Leikai on April 3 .

As informed in a press release issued by PRO Police Department Manipur, Imphal, RK Tutusana, a case has been registered at Sekmai Police Station against the arrested cadre of UNLF namely Oinam Rita (47) W/O, O Kumar Khuman from Maharabi Mayai Leikai and investigation has been going on.

One cadre of PLA has been arrested in a combined frisking and checking by Thoubal District Police Commandos and 40 Assam Rifles at Ngariyan Chingjin on April 6 .

A case has been registered at Yairipok Police Station against the arrested cadre Ayekpam Basanta Meitei @ Naobi @ Boyai (31) S/O A Shyamkishore of Yairipok Top Chingtha.

The search operations were conducted based on a reliable source about the presence of the insurgent at the places.
