Imphal, March 07 2012: A one-day awareness programme on scientific farming of ducks was held today at Yairipok Yambem.

The programme was jointly organised by Directorate of Extension Education, Central Agriculture University and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Andro, Imphal East.

Prof M Premjit of Directorate of Extension Education has distributed two varieties of ducklings to selected farmers of Yairipok Yambem.

Programme Assistant of KVK Andro, Dr Th Sushila spoke on scientific farming of ducks in order to sustain a living.
