Imphal, August 06 2015: A reception function to honour newly elected Ukhrul ADC Chairman Dr Yaronso Ngalung was held at Ringui Ramhou, Tungou in Ukhrul district on August 4 .

ADC members, village authorities, church leaders and villagers attended the function.

During his speech, Dr Yoronsho Ngalung, who has been elected on NPF ticket, welcomed the peace accord signed between Government of India and NSCN (IM).

Saying that the Centre must understand the cultural identity of Nagas, Dr Yoronsho said that he would work towards facing external forces.
