Imphal, January 03 2014 : Barely 24 hours after a youth stabbed to death his aunt at Kyamgei Muslim Awang Leikai, Imphal East district, a man hacked his own father to death at Khoijuman Ward No 1, Bishnupur district at around 4.30 pm today.

Khangjarakpam Sanakhomba (62) was warming himself beside a fire-place in the posterior side of his house when his son Boby (38) attacked with a blader.

Sanakhomba was killed on the spot.

Soon after, police launched a massive manhunt to nab Boby.
