Source: Chronicle News Service
Imphal, October 02 2024:
While denouncing the statement of Hill Tribal Council, Moreh that it would not allow resettlement of Meeteis in Moreh, Meetei Council Moreh (MCM) has asserted that Meeteis do not need permission from anyone, especially from Kukis, to resettle in the border town.
In a release, MCM pointed out that resettlement of Meeteis in Moreh has been delayed due to the present conflict situation in the state.
Reminding Kukis that every citizen of India has the right to resettle in any part of the country, MCM affirmed that the displaced Meeteis will definitely resettle in Moreh.
