Noney, November 30 2021: The Hill's Landownership Compensation Demand Association has appealed to the Government to release the pending compensation before December 16 for the road expansion package from Keithelmanbi to Charoi Panthungba, Kangpokpi district.

In a release, HLCDA stated that the road expansion work was carried out by NHIDCL without payment of any compensation to the affected villages.

The association further warned of intensified agitation in case of failure to fulfil its demand before December 16 .
