Misao elected VC of ADC Sadar Hills

Kangpokpi, August 07 2015 : Veteran Congress leader from Saikul and elected member of Autonomous District Council (ADC), Sadar Hills, Thangjakam Misao has been declared elected uncontested as Vice Chairman of ADC Sadar Hills on Friday.

The ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing administered the oath of secrecy to the newly elected Vice Chairman in the presence of other elected members and Chongpu Kipgen, MCS, Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Sadar Hills before awarding the certificate of election at Conference Hall, SHADC Kangpokpi.

Thangjakam Misao, who is also the president of District Congress Committee Sadar Hills, has been elected for three consecutive terms and he was also serving as the General Secretary of Sadar Hills District Demand Committee for 15 years.
