Imphal, August 07 2015 : Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) informed the general public that the land line telephone service will disrupt at Ayangpalli, Thambalkhong, Khergao, Naharup, Kwakeithel, Haobam mark, Irom Leikai, Lourembam, Chingtham Leikai and Heirangoithong west areas as the telephone pillars located at Thambalkhong and Nganapithong had been damaged and burnt down by some miscreants.

A statement issued by BSNL Sub Divisional Engineer (South) said it would take some two or three weeks to replace/restore the pillars.

He appealed to all concerned not to repeat such illegal activities in future.
