Imphal, July 28 2014 : The 122nd Birth Anniversary of Mahakavi Hijam Anganghal was observed by Kangkeipak Loinasillon Apunba Lup (KLAM) at Hueiyen Lanpao Literary Hall, Thouda Bhabok Leikai Sega Road here today.

The function was attended by Dr Mahabir, Joint Director of Directorate of Language Planning & Implementation; Yaitongba, president of KLAM and Dr Yumnam Sanatomba, Associate professor, Manipuri Department, Manipur University as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honor respectively.

Offering of floral tributes to photo of the late writer was the main highlight of the function.
