Imphal, October 16 2015 : ZYF 'Public Opinion Poll' results on Oct 29
The result of the Public Opinion Poll conducted by Zeliagrong Youth Front (ZYF) of Zeliangrong apex body will be declared on October 29 in Tamenglong district headquarters.

In a press note, vice president of ZYF (AMN), David Kamei has asked all Zeliagrong Youth Front executive members, former members, advisors, well wishers and others to attend the historic event without fail.

Man killed in accident
One person identified as Md Elias (35) s/o Md Ali Ahmed of Yairipok Ningthounai was killed when another person identified as Toijam Tomba (35) of Yairipok Bishnunaha injured after their two wheeler vehicles collided on Friday in Keirao Wangkhem Chingdum Macha area in IMphal East under Irilbung Police Station at around 9.30 am.

New KSA unit
IMPHAL, OCT 16 (HNS): Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) on Friday elected Sougrakpam Arvin as president of KSA Lilong Higher Secondary Unit.

Thingujam Jina, Wangkhem Luxmi, Ronibala Nameirakpam and Soibam Romesh were elected as vice president, general secretary, finance secretary and publicity secretary respectively along with other 56 members.

Spt VDF annual firing begins
The annual firing of VDF personnel within Senapati district began on Friday at 9 MR Taphou firing ground.

In connection with the annual firing, Mlun Kipgen, General Secretary, All Senapati District VDF Welfare Association appealed to all VDF personnel to participate in the firing without fail.

He also urged VDF personnel of Senapati to cooperate with the association.

RPF denies police claim
Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has clarified on Friday that the group has no any connection with Nongmaithem Naocha (26) of Heirok Part-3 and Phuritsabam Manimohon Meetei (43) of Salungpham Kangthokchao Maning Leikai who were reportedly arrested by a combined team of 9 Sector Assam Rifles and Thoubal Police Commando from Wangjing market area on October 13 .
