Imphal, August 08 2015 : Enforcement of the prohibitory orders under 144 CrPc continued for the third day on Saturday even as uneasy calm prevailed in the Huining/Halang village in Northern Ukhrul.

Ukhrul Police sources informed Hueiyen Lanpao that the prohibitory orders have continued for the third consecutive day and would remain in force for a longer period as there is likelihood of violence erupting any moment in the event of withdrawing the act.

"An Ukhrul Police team led by Sl Benjamin and an ASI is currently deployed in the village," the source added.
