Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA), it has been alleged that the money which was sanctioned by the central government for the extension of one room of Islamabad LP School, Jiribam was swindled by the Headmaster Th Mangi without informing the school committee.

The KSA in a press note has urged the government to look into the matter and take action against him.

Mass casual leave at RIMS suspended
The non teaching employees' welfare association, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal and representatives of contract employees have temporarily suspended the proposed 3 day mass casual leave after an amicable negotiation with the authority of Medical Sciences.

BA results declared
Results of the BA (Honours) 6th Semester examination, 2015 Manipur University were declared on Tuesday.

The subjects include Anthropology, Bengali, Economics, Education, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Manipuri, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology and Statistics.

UYC to block road
United Youths' Club, Lairikyengbam Leikai of Imphal East on Tuesday has organized a meeting of its members, executive members and locals at the building of the club.

The meeting which was chaired by the President of UYC resolved to block the road from Salanthong to Naga Thong from July 4 onwards.

It also urged the local MLA and public works department to repair the road by July 3 .

Admission open at MU
Manipur University informed the general public that applications on prescribed forms are invited for the admission in MA/M Sc/M Com/MLIS/MCA in first semester and the prescribed application form and prospectus will inform available in the cash counter of the university form July 8 .
