Imphal, August 29 2014 : 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(South) organised a "Medical Camp" in conjunction with District Medical team of Chandel at Eastern Sun Shine School, Moreh on 27 August 2014. The medical official of Assam Rifles along with Dr.N Birchandra (CMO,Chandel), Dr Sashi (State Epidermologist), Dr Arkang (DM, Nephrologist), Dr Vanobasanta (Paediatrics), Dr Y Gopal (Microbiologist) provided all necessary medical assistance to the patients.

The medical camp in Moreh was organised in view of the spread of fever of an unknown origin in and around Moreh.

Around 110 people were treated by the team of Doctors.
