Imphal, March 21 2016: The Longyo Education Trust, Ukhrul in collaboration with JCRE Skill Solution, Imphal today organized one day career counselling and skill development workshop for class X stu- dents at town hall, Phungreitang., reports Mungchan Zimik.

JCRE Director Niranjan Singh said that skill develop- ment is very essential for youth as it provide a platform for employment.

Highlighted activities of JCRE, he said JCRE offers short-term course on skill development with an aim to cater better job opportunity.

It also provides placement assistance and encourages youth to venture into entrepre- neurship.

JCRE aims to address the programme to one lakh youth within 2020, added Dr Niranjan.
