All business activities of non-locals to be banned: Student Wing

Imphal, August 08 2015 : As part of the boycott agitation launched against non-locals by the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) Student Wing, all business activities of non-Manipuris in Imphal East will be banned with immediate effect, the Student Wing announced on Saturday.

The ban will be in force until the demand for introduction of ILP is fulfilled, informed JCILPS Student Wing co-convenor Loitongbam Suraj in a press statement on Saturday.

The statement, however, earnestly urged all ILP supporters not to cause any kind of disturbance to medical and religious activities, electricity, water supply and media during the ongoing agitation spearheaded by JCILPS.

JCILPS Student Wing, Imphal East will not remain silent if obstruction is caused to them, the statement warned.
