KACTC urges to repair road

Imphal, June 30 2015 : Koirengei Awang Chaokhat Thourang Committee has urged the state governmment to repair the road of Awang Leikinthabi which passes through Koirengei to Sekmai since it is one of the most important roads of the state.

Secretary, Koirengei Awang Chaokhat Thourang Committee in a press statement has stated that more than 600/700 heavy trucks ply everyday through the Koirengei to Leikinthabi road which is about 7.5 km.

This road has been the important adjoining road of two constituencies, Heingang and Lamsang even though it comes under Imphal East district.

The two local MLAs of the said constituencies is also in the current ruling Congress party of Manipur.

The statement further said that the 60 MLAs of Manipur should consider the plight of the people of Heingang, Lamsang and Saikul constituencies as their own people of Manipur.

They should not forget that they were elected as representatives by these people.
