Imphal, May 21 2015 : The State government is inefficient towards protecting its border as is evident from the fact that some of the villages had gone to Myanmar when the neighbouring country claimed the territory as theirs.

The same issue has taken place at Ukhrul with Nagaland and presently the Southern Angami People's Organisation had started constructing roads having a length of 10 kilometres inside Manipur's territory but the government is not responding in time alleged the civil society organisation.

HERICOUN had expressed its support to the 24 hour strike called by committee for Kojurii and Dzukou land boundary resolution.
