Imphal, December 01 2015: Shija Eye Care Foundation (SECF) in association with Khwairamband Ema Keithel today organized a free eye screening and free cataract surgery camp at Ema Keithel.

Altogether 186 patients were screened for cataract and 13 patients were detected with cataract.

Dr Sachindra Laishram, and Dr Vikram Khoisnam, consultants, Shija Eye Care Foundation along with team of SECF conducted the camp, according to a statement.

Patients detected with cataract will undergo Phaco on December 17 under the sponsorship of Jain Samaj, Manipur.
