Imphal, September 28 2012: Against the hazard of not wearing helmet/protection head gear by two-wheeler riders as well as pillion riders, the Imphal West police has announced that it would conduct a special drive to enforce wearing of helmets/headgears in the city area with immediate effect.

Stating that wearing of helmet is a must for riders as well as pillion riders under MV Act, a statement issued by the SP of Imphal West said that any one found not wearing helmet while riding would be imposed a fine and challaned as per law.
