Imphal, September 19 2015 : A combined team of District Police Commando Thoubal including women police and 2 Assam Rifles conducted a search operation in and around Langathel area and arrested one self-styled L/C of UNLF on Friday.

The arrested UNLF cadre was identified as Soibam Satrukhon @ Khon Meetei @ Pansemba (25) s/o (L) Birsingh Meetei of Moreh Ward No-7 Turel Wangma.

On his disclosure, one woman cadre of UNLF organization namely Sagolsem (N) Nanao @ Naobi (22) d/o (L) Tomba of Moreh Heinou Makhong Lai Haraobam Manak was also arrested from Langathel Maning Leikai on Friday itself.

Incriminating articles were seized from Satrukhon's possession, a release said on Saturday.
