LNC cheers on Naga accord

Imphal, August 08 2015 : The Liangmai Naga Council (LNC) has expressed ITS happiness on signing of Naga Peace Accord between the Government of India and the NSCN (IM).

The LNC has lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the collective leadership of the NSCN (IM).

The Liangmai body hoped that the accord which is the 'framework agreement' was possible by the God's grace and the persistent services of the Naga leaders.

The council also saluted the Naga leaders and all those people who have contributed to the Naga cause.

It also expressed happiness that the health condition of NSCN (IM) chairman Isak Chishi Swu has recovered and prayed that the Almighty may continue to lead the Naga leader.
