Hospital management prog begins at SHRI

Imphal, September 05 2014 : A 2-day management development programme on 'Managing Hospital and Health care services' which was organized by Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management, Shillong concluded at Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Langol here today.

During the inauguration of the programme on Thursday, Dr.Kh.

Palin, Managing Director of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute; Prof.TK Giri, Director of IIM; Prof.Amitabh De; Prof.Saravana and Prof..ASonia Nongmaithem took the dais as presidium members.

Citing management skills and satisfaction of patients as requirements for development of a hospital, Prof Giri expressed confidence that the programme would instill knowledge and skills of hospital management to the participants.

He also mentioned that dedication and hard work are needed for success of a healthcare sector.

Prof.TK Giri delivered lecture on 'Team Building and Motivation in hospital Administration', while Prof..ASonia dwelled on 'Managing change in Hospital and Healthcare system'.

Prof..PSaravana talked on the topic 'Finance for Non-finance Professionals' .
