Imphal, July 05 2014 : Under the Project 'Netra Jyoti' of its Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Development (CSR & SD) activities, Loktak Power Station, NHPC Ltd conducted the 6th batch of free cataract operation at Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Imphal on June 3 where 12 cataract cases were operated successfully.

Elderly persons having cataract/difficulty in seeing distant objects may contact the doctors at Project Hospital, Loktak/Leimatak on all working days or the dispensary at Ithai Barrage on Tuesday for availing the opportunity of free cataract operations, according to a statement issued by Dr KK Singh, Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Medical Department, Loktak Power Station.
