Accidental fire injures personnel

Imphal, August 04 2015: In an accidental firing one woman 9 IRB personnel on duty at Khuman Lampak Indoor stadium was injured.

The personnel was identified as Chingaikin (30) from Churachandpur.

Two bullets which had hit her abdomen had exited.

She is battling for her life in a private hospital.

She was reportedly cleaning her service carbine.

In another incident three women IRB personnel were injured when women vendors reportedly beat them up in front of the Congress office on Tuesday.

The incident took place at 2:30 pm.

The injured IRB personnel were identified as Tourangbam Kenela, Rina and Haringmila.

They had tried to restrain the women vendors.
