ALT assembly held

Chandel, September 03 2014: The 1st General Assembly of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (Anal Students' Union) H/Q Chandel for the tenure 2014 � 2017 was at Rungchang Village in Chakpikarong sub-division of Chandel district on August 29 .

According to a statement issued by ALT today, Presidents/Secretaries of Youth Clubs, ALT branches, ANTA, ASR, Former Leaders of ALT, Social Workers, Intellectuals & Well-Wishers attended the Assembly, during which agenda such as policy & programs, annual budget & discretionary fund, students & clubs membership fee, induction of vacant posts were profoundly discussed & deliberated on, and were passed unanimously with the house approval.

The Assembly also inducted Ts Winnergift, Rose, former ALT President Ps Monihring, Rl Angdang who is also the former ALT President, RD Jeepness and NL Daniel as the Information and Publicity Secretary, Women Coordinator, Tribunals and Deputy speakers of ALT Assembly affairs respectively.

The ALT acknowledged Paulhring Langhu, F/President ANSAM for generously contributing Rs.10,000 for the assembly.

It also thanked chief, youth club & women society of Rungchang Village for hosting the meet.
