KSA condemn Nagaland Board

Imphal, June 30 2015 : Kangleipak Students' Association flayed the Nagaland State Board of Education for inclusion of Shiroi Lily in the text books as their flower.

The students' body also stated that Shiroi Lily is grown only in Ukhrul and it is found nowhere in the world.

A memorandum was also submitted to the Chief Minister, Forest Minister, Education Minister, Education Director, Chairman and Secretary of BOSEM on June 8 with a deadline of ten days for a follow up action against the claim of Nagaland State board about Shirui Lily flower which was included in their textbooks.

KSA reacting to the negligence of the State government had decided to take up protests by putting black badge in the school uniform of Higher secondary school students starting July 1st.KSA also slammed the neighbouring State Nagaland for their act of land grabbing.

It also condemned the attempt for encroachment at Dzuko and Kojurii.
