Imphal, July 30 2015: An emergency general body meeting for All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) is being scheduled on July 31, Friday at the Press Club, Majorkhul at 11 am.

The emergency meeting will discuss on the issues related to ill treatment meted out to journalists who are on their way to cover news or at the time of getting back after completing their duty by the ILPS protestors.

Besides, the meeting will finalise on introducing a jacket model imprinted as press for working journalists and withdrawal of restriction imposed on a few editors on their membership by the union, says a press release.
