Imphal, February 28 2016: To inculcate a sense of responsibility among students and en- courage them to adhere to traffic rules meticulously, the NSS unit of Don Bosco College, Maram organized a one day road safety awareness programme on Saturday under the guidance of Sr Sweta the PO of NSS unit-I, our correspondent reports.

About 160 students participated in the awareness pro- gramme.

AK Singh, OC, 98 RCC (GREF) was the chief guest of the programme while Dr Fr KO Sebastian, Principal, Maram College attended as resource person.

AK Singh in his speech appealed the students to gen- erate maximum awareness on road safety among the people to mitigate fatal road accidents.

He also urged upon youngsters to follow traffic rules while driving.
