AR organises free medical camp

Imphal, August 26 2015:
Villages along the Indo-Myanmar border are deprived of basic medical amenities coupled with the problems due to the recent incessant rains in the region and local peoples have been suffering from various health issues.
In a statement, PRO HQ IGAR (S) said 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (S) organised a free medical camp at Shaibol on August 26, remote area of Chandel district.
Senior Medical Officer and nursing assistants of 24 Assam Rifles conducted spot medical check-up of affected individual and medicines were given free of cost.
