Imphal, June 25 2016 : BJP Manipur Pradesh State Executive Commit- tee member K Sarat along with other members inspected Thoubal Wangmataba Bazar wherein around 30 shops have sunk towards the river, reports our correspondent.

Thoubal Municipal Council has barricaded the market building to avert untoward inci- dent.

Dr Nimaichand Luwang who was also a part of the inspection team alleged that the incident occurred since the market building was constructed without giving due empha- sis to its quality aspects.

K Sarat also stated that the Chief Minister should produce a white paper on the con- struction project and its norms so as to clear the doubts of the general public.
