NEFIS to stage protest

Imphal, March 05 2014 : Protesting against the inaction and callousness of Delhi Police over the February 28 incident where two cousins from Manipur were not just harassed but also attempted to rape the girl by four rowdy elements at Delhi's Vijay Nagar area, North-East Forum For International Solidarity (NEFIS) would demonstrate in front of Delhi Police Headquarters at ITO tomorrow at 2 pm.

Informing this in a statement, co-ordinator of the Forum Chinglen Khumukcham lamented that instead of taking up prompt action to arrest the accused, Delhi police resorted to lathi-charge and stone pelting at the agitated students.
