Imphal, November 04 2015: The 40 Assam Rifles 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) will organized ex-servicemen meet at Singjamei Post on November 5 at 10 am.

In a statement, PRO HQ IGAR (S) said that the aim of organizing the programme is to highlight the various schemes and programme being taken by the Central and State Government for the welfare of the ex-servicemens and bring quality life of the veterans.

Free medical checkup, canteen facility and grievances cell will also be catered for during the meet.

A comprehensive interaction will take place in which the Officiating Commandant of the unit will inform all veterans about the latest schemes introduced by Government and various measures under taken by IGAR(S) for welfare of Ex-Servicemen, the statement added.
