Imphal, July 30 2015: One more youth was hit by rubber bullet on Wednesday in the police crackdown to disperse the people who had come out in the streets during the 38-hour general strike called by the Joint Action Committee against the killing of Sapam Robinhood.

The incident took place around 9 pm on Wednesday after the end of the general strike.

The victim was identified as Koijam Umakanta (22) son of Koijam Inaocha of Ghari Awang Leikai.

The firing took place at Ghari.

Hit in the chest, he was rushed to RIMS.

It may be recalled that Ngangbam Robinson who was hit by two bullets in a police firing at Singjamei on July 28 night is undergoing treatment in Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) .
