Ban on ambulance service lifted

Imphal, August 26 2015:
Malom No-1 Students' Club, Malom has said that the ban imposed on ambulance service of Kuki Khanglai Lawmpi (KKL) by residents of Malom Tuliyaima Awang Leikai has been lifted on Wednesday.
The decision aims at upholding the communal harmony among different groups in the State and also in consideration of the emergency service, a statement said.
No further obstruction will be given to the ambulance service on which the ban was enforced after a scuffle broke out during a public curfew imposed by JCILPS, the statement said.
It urged all communities in Manipur to unite together and join peaceful agitations in future.
