ZSUM flays JCILP volunteers

Imphal, August 19 2015:
Taking serious note of the assault on innocent people by the volunteers of JCILPS related bandh at Keithelmanbi, Zeliangrong Student's Union Manipur (ZSUM) on Tuesday said that such incidents should not happen in the near future.
According to ZSUM State Secretary, four persons from Noney were on foot to Imphal as there was a bandh called JCILPS volunteers.
However, at Keithelmanbi area, Poucha Kamei an elderly man was assaulted by the volunteers of JCILPS.
Another man Kachamthai tried to intervene, but he was also assaulted again.
Disapproving harassment of the public, ZSUM appealed all not to resort to such kind of means.
