Imphal, March 16 2016: The 22 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) conducted a medical camp under operation Sadbhavana programme at Chairei village on March 14. A total of 423 patients hailing from the remote areas of Thoubal district were treated at the camp.

In another endeav- our, 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) organised a lecture on mouth cancer and tobacco awareness at village Ril Ram Centre yesterday.

Meanwhile, 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) organised a lecture on causes of cancer and precautions at Chavangphai village on March 13.A medical team of 11 AR led by CMO conducted these lectures to sensitize the villagers on the subject.
