Village chiefs welcome Naga Peace Accord

The Naga Chief Association, Tengnoupal Block Chandel District has welcomed the Naga Peace Accord signed between Government of India and NSCN (IM) on August 3.A joint press release issued by NCA, General Secretary SK Angkhel Lamkang and Information Secretary M Moshil Maring, said the historic Peace Accord was signed under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Inter locator RN Ravi with the NSCN (IM) Chairman Isak Swu and General Secretary Th Muivah.
NCA appreciated leaders of the both sides for solving the long pending Naga Political issue by inking the successful and historic Peace Accord.
The Peace Accord will bring in peace and development not only to the entire North East region but also to the south East Asia.
The statement further said that all peace loving citizens need to welcome the historic Naga Peace Accord and have peace with Naga in the days to come.
