Imphal, March 04 2016 : Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) and Poumei Naga Students' Union (PNTM) today, undertook a surprise visit to the HSLC examination centre at Purul, a village located some 45 kms away from Senapati district Hqs. A total of 274 students (135 girls and 139 boys) are appearing the HSLC examination conducted by BOSEM at the centre - Purul Government Hr Secondary School. The presence of SDSA, PNTM, BOSEM Deputy Sec- retary and SDO, Purul have aided in maintaining strict and vigilant environment at the centre. Frisking of students were intensively carried out by local womenfolks and Purul Youth and Student's Organization (PYSO) respectively.

SDSA, in a statement, has expressed deep appreciation of the Purul village authority for provid- ing rice, firewood and housing accommodations to the students stationed at the village free of cost.
