Victim of Khabeisoi accident identified

Imphal, December 19 2021: The man who died during a road accident that occurred at Khabeisoi Eshirou area along Imphal-Ukhrul road under Heingang police station in Imphal East district on Friday has been identified while police have recovered the vehicle involved in the accident.

According to a police source, the deceased man has been identified as Thoudam Sanjay (30), son of Angou of Chingarel Mana Ingkhol.

The numberless vehicle (Bolero) involved in the accident was driven by one Shoshim Angkhang (25), son of Shanglei of Sanakeithel village.

The police source further informed that Angkhang was nabbed by a team of Lamlai police after he fled from the accident spot and he along with the vehicle has been handed over to Heingang police station for necessary legal action.
