Two truck drivers kidnapped

Imphal, November 15 2015: Two truck drivers have been kidnapped for ransom by some armed men along National Highway 2 Sunday evening.

Reports said on Sunday, the kidnapping took place at about 6 pm Daine village along Imphal-Dimapur road.

The kidnapped drivers have been identified as Bishwajit from Assam and Lanchan from Bihar.

The police have registered a case regarding the incident.

The suspects came in a Maruti van and took away the drivers towards Kalapahar side along the highway section of Imphal-Dimapur road.
