Imphal, November 10 2014: A dead body of a transgender was found floating in Thangapat, Sagolband Bijoy Govinda under Imphal Police Station in Imphal West this early morning.

The deceased has been identified as Hijam Dolen (28) alias Dhoni s/o H Rajen of Nagamapal Paonam Leirak.

Reports said Dolen worked in a beauty parlor situated at Sagolband Soyam Leirak.

His whereabouts was traceless since the last three days.

The dead body was handed over to the deceased's family after performing post mortem at RIMS morgue later today.

Veracity of the death case could not be ascertained till the time of filing this report.
