FEGOCTA demands MHES

Imphal, October 08 2015: In connection with the recent High Court order to cancel the appointment of three Government College Principals, Federation of Government College Teachers' Associations, Manipur (FEGOCTA) has demanded the Manipur Government to constitute Manipur Higher Education Service (MHES) to reduce and prevent avoidable court cases.

FEGOCTA said that constitution of MHES will help to bring good governance in higher education system.

A lot of public money and time are spent in dealing with irregularities and violations of UGC regulations and in fighting the increased court cases relating to higher education, added FEGOCTA.
