Imphal, January 08 2014: A meeting of Kangla Khunthokyai Apul Luplen (KAKHAL) convened yesterday at Singjamei Chingamakha with Soubam Irikhomba in the chair has discussed in threadbare the acknowledgement of Nat Sanskirtan as a cultural heritage by UNESCO recently.

The meeting resolved that the acknowl-edgement was given without conducting in-depth research on the subject and that it must be replaced by other cultural art form of the State.
