HITOWO appeals to spare NHs

Imphal, April 06 2015 :
Highway Truck Owner's Welfare Organization (HITOWO) has appealed to spare the National Highways from any kind of strike and blockade.
The appeal was made through a press release issued by HITOWO Publicity Secretary, K Brojendro Meetei in regard to the issue of kidnapping of a tribal girl by a Muslim man.
HITOWO further said that it will support the decision of JAC on the issue.
However it appealed not to impose any kind of strike and blockade on the highways by organizations/clubs/association,etc.
