Digital Signature with EPFO mandatory

Imphal, September 03 2014: With a view to make services of Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) available to its stakeholders in an efficient, transparent and reliable manner and at low costs, the Central PF Commissioner in exercise of powers conferred on him under para 36(7) of EPF Scheme 1952 has made mandatory for registration of employers/its authorized signatories with Digital Signature (Class 2 & above), with the EPFO.

In this regard, the Commissioner has requested all concerned employers covered under the EPF & MP Act, 1952 to register Digital Signature (Class 2 & above) of the authorized signatories of the establishments by September 30, 2014 .
