Imphal, August 30 2014 : A saplings plantation programme was held at Kumbi PHC campus today, under the aegis of AMUCO and other bodies like United Clubs Organisation of Bishnupur District Committee (UCOBID), UKANCO Kumbi Area and Kumbi Municipal Council, said a press release issued by UCOBID.

Vice president of AMUCO, W Gonendro Singh; president UCOBID L Ranjit Singh; president of UKANCO N Ibohal Singh; Chairperson of Kumbi Municipal Council M Bineshwor Singh and other members of UKANCO, participated in the programme and planted saplings in the area.

Conveying his appreciation and gratitute to the people of Kumbi for their sheer commitment on taking care of the planted saplings, UCOBID president L Ranjit Singh has pledged that the UCOBID and other like-minded bodies would continue to organise more tree plantation programmes in the coming days.
